Dear Dr. Mike Alexander,

We would like to appreciate your being present and the dedicating our new church building. You have been with us at every major turn in this long journey, ever since the inception of the church 18 years ago. Your input, guidance and direction has been invaluable in spite of the fact that we in Pune belong to a culture and language group i.e. Marathi; for which you have put in years of effort to study and understand. The outcome is your ability to understand the local church and the DNA in its own context and not bring in the Western model to impose therein.

We would also like to thank you for taking keen interest in associating with the church leadership and congregation for addressing issues faced over the years; offering solutions that are not ‘American’ but truly suited to the Indian culture and psyche.

We thank the Lord for giving you the ability to think cross-culturally; design strategic plans that can be implemented in our culture (context); helping us with vision construction and encouraging us to cast our vision in order for the entire congregation to understand where they fit in the Abundant Life Centre ministry. We also appreciate you for being a friend, mentor and partner; and helping us grow from a small congregation in one location to multiple sites along with a Bible School, a Private School and in reaching out to hundreds on a regular basis.
